Dipping our toes into the BMS song pool once more, we stumble across one UK Hardcore-genre piece who won the audience's hearts with its beats! Coming from the 2013's edition of the BMS OF FIGHTERS contest series (full title: konzertsaal -THE BMS OF FIGHTERS 2013-), this is a song from independent artist Kohei Ohtsu (Twitter; Soundcloud), more commonly known online with his nora2r art name. Being himself a member of several doujin circles -including Shohei 'RoughSketch' Uno's Notebook Records- he's also owner of Next Reflection (link), its own circle. As mentioned in B.B.K.K.B.K.K.'s original BMS song entry, the nick-named Demae (出前) is the author of the song's music video, as well as the related music art that got ported into commercial music gaming years later.
Being the top-rated song of its musical contest of origin, this track made it to be remixed by several other BMS artists along the years, includine names such as s-don, hurce, Alex Prospect and rira. The original song itself also got a long version -featured in 2014's YATSUZAKI HARDCORE VOLUME 4 compliation album- as well as a sequel song by the name of ULTRA B+K, which premiered in 2016 with the artist's 4th solo album Access to the Light. Finally, the song had its share of fame among arcade music games for quite a while, with the SOUND VOLTEX, maimai, CHUNITHM and Groove Coaster series preceeding Taiko no Tatsujin on the playable-porting action.
Among all the BMS songs that got ported into Taiko gaming, its Oni mode is by far the closest one to adopt a full-on music-charting notation, with nearly every beat getting replicated in Taiko form. This in turn makes for a restless chart a-la regular Taiko Time Oni where 1/16 is the signature of choice for most of its note clusters.
