Today's tune on the spotlight is the ending theme for the first Anime series based on the manga series City Hunter (シティーハンター), one of the most-known serialized works from mangaka/writer Tsukasa Hojo (北条司). Set in contemporary times, this 35-tankobon pubblication tells many adventure of Ryo Saeba, a private eye in the Japanese city of Shinjuku who works under commission as a "sweeper", protecting his appointed clients and dealing with delinquency of all sorts with his... fond appreation of women and remarkable gunslinger skills.

Serialized in paper form between 1985 and 1991, City Hunter became famous overseas thanks to the early adopting of its animation-related media produced by Sunrise Studios, spanning between four Anime seasons that round up to 140 episodes, three live-action movies/series from outside of Japan, a continuative/spinoff manga series (Angel Heart) and seven different feature-lenght movies, the latest of which (City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes) being released on February of this year! The series also received some appreciation on the gaming spectrum, with one Japan-exclusive PC Engine game in 1990 and Ryo Saeba himself becoming a playable character for the recently-released crossover fighting game Jump Forces.

Performed by TM NETWORK, the iconic Get Wild has had a short affair with official Taiko gaming as a cover track, spanning between some of the last games in the first generation. Its Oni mode, while notelight for today's average 8* Oni standards, already showcases a keen attention on cluster flexibility combinations, playing around the base rhythm with repeating stanzas and several Kat-ending clusters of varying combos and lengths.
